World AIDS Day and the Highlands County Movement

 AIDS They Don’t Care!

On Thursday December 1st, 2011, it will be the official World AIDS Day.  I think the only contemporary Hip Hop movement bigger than the legalization of Marijuana is forcing the government to cure the AIDS virus.

I think a wise move would be to combine the move to search for the cure to AIDS and make our voices heard on the marijuana dilemma. With the NBA Season in a state of uncertainty, venues that would normally be closed will be open to the touring artists.  It would be the perfect time to kick off major world tours, which can start as charitable events all over the world, on World AIDS Day.

I am cash strapped, but have few pledges for donations.  It is taking all I have to keep the water on at my headquarters building at 923 South A Avenue.   So though I have great ideas, until I get my 501 c 3 statuses straight, someone else my well have to pick up on them, because I cannot allow people to write off their charitable donations as a tax write off yet.

But what I have to share has to be heard now that it may come into existence.  Highlands County is one of the hardest hit places in the nation by HIV the virus that causes AIDS.

I call on the community leadership, the Churches and Government to come together, everyone at their own capacity; with the support of the entertainment world (Big Name and small name) and the venues available here, from SFCC to the New Mixx Night Club, to come together for AIDS awareness through education and entertainment make our voices heard throughout the world; to find a cure and cure the AIDS virus.
